Good morning “library girls” and boys! (Aren’t you dying to know the back story on that photo? That’s what you get for doing a search for [pasadena library] in the snazzy new Digital Public Library of America portal! Frank P. Hill was an ALA president.)

I’m speaking today, along with Roger Sutton of The Horn Book, to the Children’s Literature Council of Southern California.

My talk is on practical strategies for supporting Common Core implementation … while being pragmatic about the current state of things.
